In recent years, social-political debates on the question of immigration and the reception of refugees in France have continued to increase. All these questions, exacerbated by certain politicians, lead to fear and rejection of foreigners by certain French citizens. However, France has always been a land of immigration, and it is also this particularity that has built its history and cultural wealth, so it seems important to me to raise awareness among french people to the importance of immigration and all the positive aspects it generates. The testimonies of travel and life that I was able to read or hear through different books and articles, but also through encounters, touched me a lot and my initial desire to work on the human being immediately made me want to dig a little deeper into my research.
